Audit log & export

The searchable record of every filing, and CSV export.

The audit log is the full, searchable record of everything Sortfully has done with your mail. Every filing, exclusion and undo is here — metadata only, never content.

What's in a row

  • Filed — when Sortfully acted.
  • Sender — the domain (and the address, if you've turned on the detailed log).
  • Destination — the folder or category. Excluded mail shows Stayed in Inbox.
  • Mode — Move or Tag.
  • Status — the outcome: filed, excluded, skipped or undone.
  • Received — when the message arrived, where known.

Searching and filtering

  • Search by domain, folder, sender address or subject.
  • Filter by outcome (filed, excluded, skipped, undone) and by mode (Move, Tag).
  • Clear resets every filter. Filters stick as you move around the app, and the list pages with Prev/Next.

Undo from the log

Filed rows carry an Undo button, so you can reverse a filing straight from the log — the row then shows as undone.

Exporting

The Export log button (top bar) downloads a CSV. You can pick a date range within your retention window. The file is named sortfully-audit-<date>-<time>.csv and contains:

Received, Filed at, Sender domain, Sender address, Subject, Destination, Mode, Outcome, Message ID

Sender address and Subject are only populated if the detailed activity log was on when the mail was filed — otherwise those columns are blank. The export only covers entries inside your retention window; older records are pruned automatically.
